Orbit Saver
Hop between orbits to grab coins. Every burn spends fuel, and fuel is money.
How to play
- Your satellite circles the planet on one of four orbits. Coins appear on the orbits and vanish after a few seconds.
- Tap outside your orbit to burn up to the next one, or inside it to drop down. Each move is a half-ellipse Hohmann transfer, so you arrive on the far side of the planet.
- Burns cost money, and inner hops cost the most. Running the satellite costs $1 every few seconds too.
- Space debris travels the wrong way around. Hit it and the mission is over. So is running out of money.
Keyboard: ↑ or W to boost, ↓ or S to drop, P to pause.
The real thing. Inner orbits are fast and outer ones are slow, and moving between low orbits takes the most fuel. A good plan waits for the coin to come around instead of chasing it, which is a budgeting lesson too.
